I've tried all types of glasses and goggles on the market. Anything from ski-type goggles to Wiley-X goggles (Spear) and Wiley-X glasses (SG-1 V-Cut & XL1s ) The Spear goggles worked pretty good but still fogged up in the high humidity area which I play in as well as the fact that I use a MICH helmet which blocks the vents on the Spears. The Wilex-X glasses always seemed to create a heavy condensation inside the glasses which blocked my view. I got these Wilex-X Glasses In Feb. '2007. I've used them in several Operations already where they did a over the top job. No fogging or damp layer inside. I used these with my MICH helmet and they still didn't fog (which always adds a few extra points). I even used them in rainy conditions which always lead to fogging. Here are the Pros VS. Cons... PROS: ➔ Very comfortable. ➔ Adjustable nose piece to make the glasses fit at the perfect height on your face. ➔ Interchangeable Lenses. All of them are very nice, especially the fogged/tinted ones. ➔ Military Approved Ballistic rating. ➔ Works great with MICH helmets and looks pretty BA! ➔ Comes with a hard cover so you can throw the glasses into your gear bag without having any worries about them getting scratched, bent or damaged in any other way. CONS: ➔ Slightly pricey, but for the protection you get, its worth it; ➔ At times it can be slightly hard to switch out the lenses. |
