It looks just like the real thing. It is made from a green plastic and has grip bumps over the whole mine. Very effective for games. Just place the mine in the ground, set the trip wire, cover it with some grass or leafs, then pull out the safety pin. After that, there is the actual pin that when it comes out sets off the mine, which emits a loud siren type alarm. You can make the perimeter of the mine as big as you want (depending on field rules). Cons: The legs on it are not very stable because the bolts keep coming off, making it unstable. To fully arm the mine, you must take a plate of the back and flip the alarm to the on position. Setting up the trip wire may take awhile, depending on the environment. It only comes with two magnets which connect to the trip wire, once the magnet is removed from the mine it sounds off. It is very easy to loose the small magnets and must be found to shut off and reset the mine. |
